Tim trained and qualified with Stoy Hayward, qualifying in 1988. Having developed a specialism in auditing and accounting matters, he joined Trevor Jones in 1993 to develop the department providing compliance services to our larger corporate clients. This has been very successful and covers a wide spectrum of industries, including property and construction, hotels, plant-hire, garden centres as well as service industries. Tim has completed two Ironman triathlons and has attempted the Arch to Arc Challenge which involved his participation in a relay team running from Marble Arch to Dover, swimming the Channel, then cycling to the Arc de Triomphe.

With many years' experience in the tax departments of both City and local firms of accountants, Janet joined Trevor Jones in 1997 to start up a specialist personal tax department following the introduction of self-assessment. Originally trained by the Inland Revenue, Janet attained her Chartered Tax Adviser qualification (then known as ATII) in 1990 and achieved membership of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) in 2007. She was appointed as a non-legal member of the First Tier Tax Tribunal on 1 April 2009. Janet relies on Pilates to keep her fit enough to cope with her four lively young grandchildren.

Rob has been in practice since 1992 and joined Trevor Jones in 2000 when he commenced training for a professional qualification, passing his finals in 2004. He provides many businesses with regular support and specializes in managing our most challenging audit clients. He ensures that clients have proper and timely management reporting systems, from which management and statutory accounts are prepared. He has a wide knowledge of management information systems, and deals with the full service, from installation of the systems, setting up regular controls, and reporting for VAT, accounts, tax, statistical or other purposes.

Chris joined Trevor Jones in 2003 straight from school. He soon gained his first professional qualification in 2005 by completing the AAT exams and then went onto obtain his ACCA qualification in 2008 and a degree in Applied Accounting in 2009. He provides a range of clients with regular business support and timely management reports to help directors with the day to day running of their companies. He manages a number of our audit clients using his experience to help them improve their accounting system and run an efficient audit. He also provides a wide range of services for smaller limited companies such as VAT returns, preparation of year end reports and general bookkeeping tasks.

Debbie joined Trevor Jones in 1991 and heads up our large payroll department, dealing with corporate and individual payrolls of up to 60 employees. As the compliance and processing requirements have become increasingly more complex, clients are realizing the benefits of outsourcing their payroll, to ensure proper compliance, confidentiality and avoiding the problems of absence should they process the salaries in-house. The department also handles the monthly processing of building contractor returns under the new Construction Industry Scheme regulations as well as individual Nanny payrolls.

Pam provides full company secretarial services, by maintaining company registers, dealing with share transfers, ensuring annual returns and accounts are filed on time, attending shareholders meetings and providing all other services a Company Secretary would provide. She has particular expertise in dealing with residents' associations and the various formalities required for flat sales and purchases. She also acts as PA for individual clients, running their home offices and making sure that bills are paid and official correspondence is dealt with.
