Rob Laurella started in practice in 1989 and joined Trevor Jones in 2000. Rob has developed a significantly impressive portfolio with experience in new entities, small and medium sized enterprises, limited companies and has established complex group company structures, encompassing all sectors of business, including technology, property development and construction.  Rob excels in providing a high level of customer service engaging closely with clients and their businesses and becoming proactively involved.  Rob is extremely well versed in all aspects of accountancy and business organisation providing valued management information and reporting systems along with cash-flows and risk assessments to clients ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.  With comprehensive experience of audits, Rob is extremely adept in running and managing these proficiently for clients but is equally knowledgeable and competent with partnership and personal tax accounting.  Rob has an extensive knowledge of computers and technology which he voluntarily shares with clients.  Rob is meticulous in all aspects of accounting striving for the highest achievement in all areas of business and is currently the driving force to a 'paperless' practice for the benefit of both clients and the firm. Rob is keen on football and enjoys going to the gym and playing badminton.

Having trained with Trevor Jones since October 2003; gaining AAT, ACCA and ACA qualifications and receiving appointment as a Director in 2016, Chris Whale has developed with the firm and nurtured an extensive Trevor Jones clientele base with strong working relationships. Chris is committed to providing an exceptional service, with solutions and systems to suit the specific requirements of each valued client.
Chris is the company's Anti-Money Laundering Director with a profound knowledge of the subject which he shares with clients.
He has developed a broad portfolio of clientele including construction and haulage companies, motor retailers, football clubs, not-for-profit entities, to which he applies his knowledge and experience to improve and develop their business efficiency and economy through which the businesses grow. 
Experienced in all aspects of accountancy ranging from accounts production for both partnerships and limited companies, various taxation areas including, VAT and business tax and general business support.  Chris is extremely experienced in audits working alongside clients to improve accounting systems thus ensuring an efficient and cost-effective audit operation. 
Additionally, Chris has worked with professional Research and Development specialists assisting businesses with related R & D tax calculations.
Chris enjoys a challenge both at work and outside of the office and works diligently to achieve client goals.

Michael started in practice in 1987 and joined Trevor Jones from BDO Stoy Hayward in 2002. He manages our audit and accounts team to offer his clients a full range of business services. This includes the preparation and clearance of year end accounts, managing audit compliance assignments, set up of accounting systems to provide timely and accurate reporting and assisting with the preparation of management reports. He specialises in regular support for small businesses looking to outsource their entire accounting function so that directors are able to concentrate on growing their business. He likes to keep fit by running, he has completed two marathons, and walking up high mountains.

Anna joined Trevor Jones in March 2020; Anna has a vast amount of experience gained from working in other accounting practices. Anna assists the directors and clients in providing all accounting service, including, VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts, preparation of limited and sole trader Accounts and offering advice on various accounting and taxation matters.

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and Personal tax and joined Trevor Jones in 2014. Paul manages our Personal tax department overseeing all aspects of Personal Tax issues.
As well as overseeing his own portfolio of Tax clients Paul also offers advice on Trust Tax issues.

Nayna has over 30 years’ experience in Personal tax and joined the Trevor Jones team in October 2019.  Nayna thrives on challenges and meeting clients’ needs and expectations and manages a vast portfolio of various types of personal tax returns. Nayna is a valued member of the team and has a fantastic attitude to her work and her friendly character makes her extremely likable not only to her colleagues but to our clients.

Hayley has many years’ experience in Personal tax and Payroll. Hayley thrives on challenges and meeting clients’ needs and expectations. Hayley solely runs our portfolio of Construction Industry scheme Contractor returns and takes pride in this area.
Hayley has been part of the team here at Trevor Jones since 2011 and is a valued member, she has a fantastic attitude to her work and her friendly character makes her extremely likable not only to her colleagues but to our clients, nothing is too big a challenge and she will always ensure client satisfaction.
 
PAYROLL DEPARTMENT:

Debbie joined Trevor Jones in 1991 and heads up our large payroll department, dealing with corporate and individual payrolls of up to 60 employees. As the compliance and processing requirements have become increasingly more complex, clients are realizing the benefits of outsourcing their payroll, to ensure proper compliance, confidentiality and avoiding the problems of absence should they process the salaries in-house. The department also handles the monthly processing of building contractor returns under the new Construction Industry Scheme regulations as well as individual Nanny payrolls.
 
COMPANY SECRETARIAL AND OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM:
 
Pam Watson: Company Secretarial

Pam provides full company secretarial services, by maintaining company registers, dealing with share transfers, ensuring annual returns and accounts are filed on time, attending shareholders meetings and providing all other services a Company Secretary would provide. She has particular expertise in dealing with residents' associations and the various formalities required for flat sales and purchases. She also acts as PA for individual clients, running their home offices and making sure that bills are settled and dealing with official correspondence.
